Yep, that’s right – they are rats. Aren’t they cute???? My mom is freaking out, but then she doesn’t like hamsters either. They are very sweet and love to interact with us. We are having a bit of a disagreement on the names. Everyone likes Grace, but Olivia is under dispute. Obviously, I like the name, but the kids want to call her Silver. In the end I will probably give in , but for now I am still calling her Olivia.
Nic at My Bottle’s Up has tagged me with this meme that includes this spiffy award! Not sure how over the top I am, though admittedly I am a little askew from normal. Never one to turn down accolades, I will of course participate.

1. Where is your cell phone? My daughter is playing pocket God on it at the moment.
2. Your hair? I have scraggly 2nd day hair at the moment.
3. Your mother? Calls me everyday when she is driving home from work & then complains because she can’t hear me over the wind from her car window.
4. Your father? Rarely calls and when he does the calls are always less than 5 minutes long.
5. Your favorite food? Depends on my moods and the time of the month, LOL.
6. Your dream last night? I dreamed I was at a arty with a bunch of high school friends, including my hubby. Some how I got a cut & bruise on my shoulder. My hubby was cleaning it up when another guy came up & put his hand on my other shoulder to comfort me. My hubby then proceed to punch him in the nose.
7. Your favorite drink? Firefly Vodka with lemonade!
8.Your dream/goal? to educate the masses about sexual assault and make a difference in a survivors life.
9. What room are you in? family room
10. Your hobby? books, books, and books – actually that might be an addiction
11. Your fear? something happening to my family
12. Where do you want to be in 6 years? out of debt, but considering I will have two in college at that point I doubt it will actually happen.
13. Where were you last night? went to Big Daddy’s Burger Bar with hubby.
14. Something you aren’t? a clean freak

In 1998 we attended a World Wide Marriage Encounter Weekend. It was there that we were introduced to the concept of writing letters to each other on a daily basis to strengthen the communication in our marriage. We highly recommend it to all married couples.
